I didn't say that though, did I? You're so desperate to get one over on me that you've jumped the gun. It's ok, try again another time.

I have the photo on my old phone, I'll get it when I get home and PM you it if you want.

I had never seen anything like it and still haven't to this day.

My dream is to go to Brazil for a Libertadores match sometime in the future.

IMO the best fans in the world. Nothing but respect for how they love their teams.
First thing that comes to mind with a South American crowd is River Plate/Boca. Insane.

          • Do people actually think I'm Dynamite Kid?

I used to argue with him all the time. I guess I was arguing with myself in the knowledge that one day I'd be exposed as an ugly Brummie ****.

I have been to more games in the last 6 months than you've been in your whole life sunshine.
LOL...I think I actually went to this game.

Is this the one you lot won 2-0 or was that the year before?

My mate got comp tickets I sat next to TWO women in fur coats. That is my lasting memory of that game.

I think they got lost and were trying to go to see Phantom of the Opera or something.

Wigan also got a player a sent off and the blokes in front of me got up so half-heartedly to raise their red season tickets and chant cheerio. I'm a calm man but I could have drop kicked both of them for just being so ****ing impassive.

I made more of a reaction when Wigan won a throw.

Stamford Bridge is quiet but it is full of 50 year old taxi drivers calling everyone ****s. It least you get a sense of the gravity of the occasion.

              • The emirates is the only ground I've been to where I've been made to sit down as an away fan.

                Not a fun day.

Chelsea used to do that as well because the put the disabled people behind the away fans.

                  Silly.

                  • I remember going to Stamford Bridge and to see Colchester batter a prime Mourinho Chelsea in FA Cup 5th Round only for Joey Cole to save the day 10 mins from time.

Carvalho should have been sent off at 1-1. That **** Gallagher, I'm not bitter...

In terms of best atmosphere.. El Clasico takes some beating.

But someone said about Italian and Spanish fans being the best. I do not watch a great deal of Italian football but Spanish crowds in general are not particularly loud at all unless it is Barca-Real..

I think I might have gone that one too was that 3-1 in the end?

I love going to games but for some reason since I have moved to Manchester and get to hardly any I find myself getting more upset with Chelsea results when I have to stream them on a choppy stream that gives in every 5 minutes.

I have noticed that fans that don't go to games are usually more mental. I used to post on a Chelsea forum and it would be the fans based in New Delhi that would be suicidal if we lost a game.

I suppose when you go to a game you have a few pints - something to eat and socialise a bit. If you are JUST watching a game and by yourself it seems to wind you up a bit more.

I am lucky though that there is always a way to watch Chelsea games. If you moved somewhere - it would be really hard to follow Colchester wouldn't it? That's the problem with proper football!
