The bright spots were martial and depay.. but we need to be more clinical..
Man City got unlucky too.. i have no idea why they binned dzeko and kept bony though.. Aguero was a huge miss for city.. bt that guy is made of glass.. they should expect him to be injured at this stage
But this english clubs are weak stuff is nonsense.. the two spanish clubs r massively ahead.. but when u take all the tv money and have maybe 6 tough league matches a year what do u expect?

I mean Madrid beat some pig farmers 6-0 at the weekend..
City had a tough game and only just won late..
La liga is 80% taco vendors.. pig farmers
There is no way ronaldo or messi fill there boots in the pl like they do in la liga

Chelsea could slay the Israeli giants tonight.
I think Chelsea will win it again.
We have already blown the league.

Atletico/Dortmund have done far better than Arsenal in recent years on lower budgets.
You got KO'd in 1 leg by Monaco mate.

Arsenal lose these 2 leg affairs in half an hour and praise themselves for ALMOST coming back.
Absolute nonsense.
It is easy to to perform whilst chasing a lost cause.
Chelsea are terrible at the minute but I bet we never lose a 2 legged knockout match in half an hour.

Premier League teams just aren't good enough to beat the proper elite clubs currently. Massive amounts of money for average quality.
Juventus haven't gelled yet and are missing Marchisio yet they go to the team running clear in the Premier League and win. Not only win, but they had a perfectly good goal disallowed and City's goal should have been a foul....it was comfortable.
I fancy Seville to beat City as well.Last edited by gmc_rfc_06; 09-16-2015, 07:35 AM.

They would do to the likes of Villa, Stoke and Newcastle what they do to the lower sides in their own leagues. They are just levels above Premier League teams at this stage.

Both leagues are different, i wouldn't say one is better than the other.
I think the PL is more competitive overall but the quality of La Liga is higher right now.
It wasn't long ago europe was moaning that the CL knock out phases were mainly English teams. The standard has clearly dropped since that peak.

2) We had all the clear cut chances, we just ****ed them up. They had 3 half decent chances all night and scored from 2 of them. That was the difference.
I will concede however that our goal was probably a foul. Arguably the first ever contentious decision we've ever had go our way in 5 years of CL football?
Mourinho would be getting absolutely slaughtered if he'd set up the way Juve did last night. Catenaccio on day 1 of the competition.
