Geithner shouldn't even be allowed to live in the country, send him to Israel or something, **** tax dodger...yet he wants to limit YOUR pay...and that will just be the begininnign
If you look at Obama's appointees.. most of them have/had ties to Wall Street in some form or fashion. All of us need to face the facts that the joke it on us...democrats and republicans...liberals and conservative..."behind the curtain" everyone of those mother****ers are the same.

I've never been one to subscribe to conspiracy theories but the facts state that the red white and blue has been hijacked by the bankers and they gladly pull the strings with impunity.

Well considering the US president destroyed a country over a lie, a proven lie, yet got voted in again for a second term, i really don't know what the US is becoming.

Personally I'm just afraid we may have gone from the frying pan into the fire. While I support neither party, I was hopeful (apparently perilousy so) that Obama would truly be a change..however, you can see that 'alot' of his promises have now drastically change.

It's a cycle with these people.... since Bush was despised it didn't take much for them to convince us that Obama was the big change we had needed.. Remember his promises to take us away from the banks and Wall Street? Well look at the people he has appointed..look where they all came from.

Geithner is a former president of the New York branch of the Federal Reserve for goodness sake. It's very frustrating to think about because it seems insurmountable especially since so many are blind to the truth.

          Exactly. We've been had.

The problem is, EVERYTHING points to the downfall of our nation. Yes, its great to have a nice house right now, but then you have to pay for the mortgage. And an agenda that costs 19 trillion means we will be paying for this for a long time.. Why do you think Obama said he doesn't care about the stock market? Becuase he plans on nationalizing the nation's production.

Of course, I want him to do good, but it must be the right thing. Public opinion hasn't been able to see through the smoke-screen yet, and it may never, but we will be sorry.

I wonder how many more Obama-appointees have failed to pay their taxes!

Much to our dismay the nation, as we were taught know it, has been dead awhile. They take away our freedoms one by one and try to pacify us with 'tax breaks' and 'stimulus checks' and whatever else they can dream up.

We are slowly making the transition from a free society to a true surveillance society with Uncle Sam around every corner.

You know it's been speculated for years that our nation has been bankrupt since the 60's and 70's and Fed is managing the bankruptcy. Our taxes and SS pay the interest on the ever mounting debt.

The only way we will ever be free from this albatross is managing the money ourselves. Congress is given the constitutional duty to print and manage the money of this nation and federal reserve act ended it and it has been downhill every since.

Wonder how many would be up in arms if they new the bailout was closer to 9 trillion than the paltry 750 billion they claim? The lack of accountability is utterly appalling.

If I were to pick out any word or phrase to describe the problems of the economy and bailouts that is tied to this thread, I would definitely say this. And this is the thing I keep saying over and over again. There is never any accountability for the misfortunes and downfall of corporations nor is there any for the tremendous amounts of money that are going to bail those banks out. It seems as though it's no ones problem and there's no one to really take any responsibility for what's going on.

Well it's a huge conflict of interest. It's not that the facilitators of this madness aren't known...they are well known. The underlying problem is that these guys are hip deep in the power elite of the country...they back the guys that supposedly make the laws and keep order and therein lies the conflict.

Who do you guys think the "bailout" goes to? That is why there is no accountability..the ones that caused the mess are ultimately the ones that are in control and pull all the strings.

The total cost of everything the Demorats want to spend will cost 19 trillion. I was reading that the bill- sent to all of us, will be about $40,000 to a legal, tax abiding citizen. Obama is who he is.... and that's clearly not American. He wants us to be a European socialist nation, pretty clearly. I'm not sure if he's wanted that all along, or if somebody else is pulling the strings, but the signs are ALL THERE.

Another thing- Yesterday Obama greeted President Da Silva (of Brazil), who made a speech blaming the economic crisis on "white, blue eyed people". Little over a week later, Obama greets him as "That's my man right there. I love this guy, that's why he's the most popular politicial in the world".

Well I know there is a lot of frustration, and people say stupid things. Don't worry, Obama apologized to the world for our arrogance. America is arrogant.

                  RIP USA

I'm not sure if you know Alex Jones or not but he makes some valid points regarding Obama. Personally I think Jones is too much of a fear-monger type who is selective in what presents, however if you watch his documentary the Obama Deception he lays it all out fairly well.

As I stated previously, Obama promised to deliver us from Wall Street and the big banks..to further move us away from the type of fallout that the current market crash had caused yet it's an impossibility. Obama is even more in the shadow of wall street than any past president.

As you said, they got us again...the old bait and switch on the american people and we accepted it...hook, line and sinker.
