I recently got a 46' Pioneer HDTV Plasma myself, hd is the way to go.

I wish I could afford a Pioneer. They are easily the best LCD and plasmas IMO.

My old LCD was HD ready but not 1080p. I'm looking forward to getting the PS3 on this bad boy.

Why pay £50 more for a TV that's not as good?

The tv you posted has a 17,000:1 Dynamic Contrast. The LG has 50,000:1. The one you posted has a 6ms screen refresh rate where as the LG's is 2ms.

and the LG is alot better looking IMO.

apart from that all of the other specs are quite similar.

LG has a game mode aswell. All that is is preset colour/brightness/contrast settings. You can get it on any tv really

congrats the deals have been soooo good lately i wish i had the money to throw around and get a 2nd tv and put my current diplay in the bedroom ... hope u enjoy it!!! we have a 720p fight thread in the block after u get the ps3 u can start watching those fights in all their HD glory
