Holy **** for real?!

Rockstar Games has decided to give Grand Theft Auto V players a reward for putting up with all the bugs in the game's multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto Online. They've decided to provide players with $500,000 of bonus GTA$ for use in GTA Online.

"In order to keep the current worldwide in-game economy balanced, we will be providing this GTA$ to players via two deposits of $250,000," Rockstar announced this morning. "We will announce specific dates as soon as possible, but are currently hoping to be able to make the first deposit by the end of next week (after we’ve confirmed that issues causing game progress loss have been fixed) with the second installment to happen by the end of the month."

The first deposit will be released around the same time as title update 1.04. This latest patch aims to fix any remaining problems regarding vehicle purchases not being saved. The patch also will enable Rockstar to make these huge gifts of money to players.

The two $250,000 deposits should appear automatically within your in-game bank account. Other than downloading title update 1.04, you shouldn't have to take any further action to get your free money.

I read on a GTA forum that there was some bike money glitch. I'm not sure what the glitch was but there were guys making $5 million in a couple of days. Rockstar found out and fixed it but a load of guys over there got IP bans. I don't know how long the ban is but that's messed up if you get a lifetime ban. Serves them right for cheating though. I didn't know you could get banned like that on PS3.

Cheers for the info about the money Natas, that's amazing news. I'm only level 7 so far and have $30,000. I could do with the cash injection!!

Since Rockstar said the online world will effect the market I can see some crazy money being made. Crews get together and attack something or other, everyone investing in a certain company probably making billions lol
