                • Throw in the ability to switch weight divisions (a feature that may not make it in the final version)

DAMN!!! i hope they keep it in. that was one of the worst things bout 2004 that u couldnt move up or down in weight.

                  • Fight Night's 2005 Lineup
EA's boxing sequel will have you seeing stars.
                    By Jeremy Dunham

January 12, 2005 - There's no doubt that anxious videogame boxing fans read our in-depth hands-on piece for EA Sports Fight Night Round 2 yesterday, but there's one thing they didn't read -- the game's expected roster. And while it's true that we could have included that information in yesterday's preview, holding off for another day ensured that it gave us an excuse to talk about it for the second day in a row -- because it looks to be just that awesome.

The final roster is expected to boast a total of 38 licensed fighters (including at least one secret character), but Executive Producer Kudo Tsunoda only clued us in on 35 of them (the remaining three are expected to be announced at a later date). Tsunoda also confirmed that last year's Heavyweight Champ, Lennox Lewis is no longer in the game, nor is Middleweight comeback king Felix Trinidad. Everyone else from last season, however, is back in full effect and joined by several new faces not previously available. Listed below are the first 35 pugilists that have been confirmed to be in the game:

                    # Antonio Tarver (22-3, 18 KO's)
                    # Arturo Gatti (38-6, 29 KO's)
                    # Bernard Hopkins (45-2-1, 32 KO's)
                    # Chris Byrd (38-2-1, 20 KOs)
                    # Derrick Gainer (39-6-1, 24 KO's)
                    # Diego Corrales (39-2, 32 KO's)
                    # Erik Morales (47-2, 34 KO's)
                    # Evander Holyfield (38-8-2, 25 KO's)
                    # Floyd Mayweather (32-0, 21 KO's)
                    # Jake LaMotta (83-19-4, 30 KO's)
                    # James Toney (68-4-2, 43 KO's)
