Charles Martin just won a belt. He could milk it by fighting weak opposition, but instead, he does something else. He doesn't think about money, but about proving himself. Not only is his first challenge Anthony Joshua, an undefeated knockout machine who I consider the future of the heavyweight definition until proven otherwise, but he is even fighting him in his home country, which a lot of champs, like Ward, didn't have the balls to do (I'm not hating on Ward here, I consider him the P4P #1, but that doesn't mean his behaviour is always as good as his skills). Charles Martin is doing the sport a big favour that he wasn't forced to do and I think he deserves a lot of respect for that. He has shown that he has the heart of a champion and if more fighters did like him, boxing would be so much better than it is now.

Credit for waiting in the UK.
No credit for fighting AJ who is a prospect.
Martin barely won the title. In reality he is only a contender.
