Devin would have probably stopped the 136, rehydration clause version of Ryan that Tank faced.
Ryan struggles to make 140, at least enough to let 1,5 millions go, let alone 136.
Seems like Garcia didn't want to fight drained again and said fck making 140. He was right....

What was Haney supposed to do, throw the event to the bin?
That's not fair, it would have been an even playing field if Haney also only had to cut to 143 lbs.
And I'm not an Haney fan at all.
UFC is doing better as usual.I remember Chimaev didn't make weight and...Smash likes this.

Seems like Bud has a pass to avoid Ennis. If someone has been fighting second tiers domestic dudes, it's Bud.
Cotton and GGG second tiers domestic? And before you say they were shot or not elite anymore. One had 3 belts unified and the other was lineal champ at 160 by the time they fought...Last edited by BillyBoxing; 04-21-2024, 03:48 AM.

There is nothing memorable. Trust me I can't stand the Haneys but this sport is becoming a circus.
From Haney having 48 hours to overweight Loma winning a narrow decision to Tank fighting unranked blown up 126 lbers and when he finally fight a live dog in Garcia asks for a catchweight....

Garcia made 136 for Tank and looked weight drained and almost 144 for Haney I think. Not the same, Haney fought a bigger healthier Garcia who didn't even dare to come close to make weight....

Yeah but what if Garcia had cut to 140 like Haney? Fight was not on an even playing field. And I don't even like Haney. Just trying to keep it real and fair...Sid-Knee likes this.
