Ward still is not to old to come out of retirement and face Canelo or for that matter Benavidez or even Beterbiev, but it's easier to chirp from the sidelines.

Is that a joke? Lil g refused to fight him. Ward went up and fought undefeated kovalev twice. The only persons legacy tainted by ggg vs ward not happening is golovkin. Dude is one weight world champion with ZERO world class wins. You could say kell Brook but he was 2 weight classes below bumlovkin that was terrible.

Two of the usual suspects already on the front line defending. Argue all you want, he’s still a dirty fighter so his legacy is that of used toilet paper no matter how you defend or try to rewrite or gloss over facts. God himself could put out an interview calling it a duck and they’d say otherwise anyway.

The legacy argument is a stretch. Canelo will go down as a hall of famer regardless of whether he fights Benavidez or not. It is a fan's fight and would be great for boxing but as far as tainting his legacy? I doubt it. Would I love to see it? Of course but for now, Mungia is next. Let's see if the kid can take Canelo's power. This fight may end earlier than many expect. Mungia has little defense and Canelo takes a great shot.

Why isn't a young dominant killer and clear long term number 1 contender in the division, not a legacy fight? List the legacy fights Canelo has had.

Canelo took a lot of big shots from Dimitry Bivol and not the same fighter unfortunately.

Not a fan of either guy. Both have similar legacies at 168. Nothing but a bunch of Eurobums on both guys resume. Ward is a hater for sure. If they don't have the same skin as him then he's always extra critical
