        If you go with southpaw- rely on your straight left - right hook combos and not your jab. Relying on the jab and using it like an orthodox fighter can get you in some really bad positions if the other guy knows what he's doing.

        In a fight of southpaw vs orthodox, it's all about positional dominance. A fighter that understands this game will use positional dominance to disable one of the opponent's arms and make it a 2 on 1 type situation. A lot of guys who switch-hit don't really understand this and tend to get caught.

        Switching can become a very bad habit.
