    Time to fight?

I know there have been previous threads about this, but how long should one wait to have a legitimate bout. I have been training for about 6 months now and i do fairly well in my sparring sessions with people. My old trainer was thinking of a fight for December but now my new trainer says he would want me to wait til next summer and dominate on my first fight. What do you'll think?

well i spar 4 times a week against different people. Most people who have fought already and i seem to do good. I am tall , 6'1 170, so i can usually keep people off with my jab.. I have fast hands and i slip most punchs that come in. Only problem im having trouble shaking is getting away from double n triple jabs that choke me up. I just want to go into my first fight and wreck the guy completely.

if u feel ready and ur trainer feels ur ready go do it up... ur tall for ur weight and if u have handspeed and ur good with the jab a shorter opponent who has no experience as well will have a difficult time getting inside

im 17, and i think i started boxing way too late so i'm not wasting any time, when i went to the gym people thought i came from another gym and ive been told i will dominate in my division by different people, and my trainer is confident ill be ready for a tournament in feb... Im going to do it up and get as many fights as possible.
