I bought them at the U19 European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia in 2005. I paid around 65$ for 'em. They cost around twice that around here.
And yeah, they're the amateur bout glove of choice, at least here in Europe, and at World Ch'ships and Olympics and such. therefore I find them good for mitts and bags, so you're comfortable with them when you fight.
They're too small for sparring.

yeah lol you could do some damge with them on in sparring
14 oz grants / 16oz titles for sparring
use my grants or 14 oz reyes on the bags.
replacing my grants for some 14oz everlast pro trainers for that purpose
wearing the grants out.
