i've finally made my left hook something to fear. it was funny, cuz i wasnt at the gym, i was on the elevator on my way up to my apartment...i was alone, so being the weirdo i am, i started shadowboxing. suddenly, i finally was able to put my shoulder and upper body into the hook without even thinking about it, and christ did it feel good.
(an aside, my trainer tells me to throw the hook by turning your torso first and snapping your left hook using the momentum...hard to explain in words, but i wanted to try cuz i know everyone has different technique)
