i hate how every 1 is always stood around the ring watchin,i would perform better if every 1 got on with theyre business while i got on with mine,but i spose there are crouds when fightin a real fight

I had ma first spar 2 weeks into trainin...it was thai boxin ma first boxin spar was the second day i went into the club lol

When i was about 11 me and a friend who were going to this gym for about 2 years at the time, we usually only sparred using jiu jitsu, but the owner finally bought a new place which was much bigger and had an actual boxing ring instead of the matts so we could finally give it ago..
So we had finished are grading for jiu jitsu for a next belt and badges, since we do half a lesson of jiu jitsu and the other half boxing, so he got the whole class to put on some headgear and some gloves so we could try out the new ring he had got, we each had turns fighting each other..
Basically me and my friend took turns beating the crap out of everyone.. lol not really but we were like 2 years ahead of everyone else because kids would always end up quitting after a few months..

My theory is you have to be sound in your skills. To the point most of your movements are second nature. I sparred 3 months in My trainer wanted to wait, but needed a strong guy my size to sparr with one of his fighters getting ready for a tourn. The exersize was mostly d for me he wanted me to tie him up. push him around and smother the pucnches and work on my slipping. I've done a ton of ring drills before that, And was ready for the work though I got knocked around. It was a good experience. I didn't do an all out spar, for another two months. My problem was I hit hard and was a little over motivated. tried to throw everything with bad intentions. I needed to calm that down and work on form and technique. I see why now. some guys are rushed to the ring and don't pick up as much as they should from sparring. They abandon what the have learned and get into some bad habits. Which I'm sure they take to the ring in a fight. I plan on training in the near future. my guys will have to put in a lot of work before sparring. I have learned from some top trainers that is the best policy. I back it up from experience.
