  • water questions....

    1) how much water should i be drinking a day?

    i hear the more you drink the more weight you lose.

    2) how many litres are in a gallen?

    1) I heard about 8 glasses a day not quite sure.

    2) 1 US gallon = 3.78 litres
    1 UK gallon = 4.546 litres

      I drink about a half gallon in the "normal" course of a day. I down another liter in the evening if I'm weightlifting, and 2 liters if I'm boxing. I weigh 170 lbs.

      I have read numerous accounts, experiments, and testimonials of water increasing fat metabolism, and this is the generally-accepted science in fitness recently. I can't speak to it from experience. Drink water until you're not thirsty anymore. You'll come to recognize the scratch in your throat as needing a glass of water. You'll also eat less.

        i dont know exacts...but i know water cant do harm

            i usually have a gallon while working out and another gallon spread throughout the day...

            my BF isnt "ripped" but more of being lean...im around 9-12 percent

              2 litres for the average guy, but if ur working out every day i usually drink around 4 litres. Too much water strains the kidneys.
