i dont like bein hit....

    Well I don't think anyone enjoys being hit, it's just you've made a thread about it so i thought you hated it more than most!
    And I never mastered the not gettin hit part. my nose is slowly flattening with each passing year...
    You will get used to getting hit, and usually in a real bout the adrenalin keeps you from feeling anything until a few hours after the fight!

      i think what u are saying is pretty natural. putting yourself in a position to get hit goes against all your ingrained instincts. i think in time you'll get used to it and it wont be as frustrating. i get frustrated too when i get hit but its more at myself for ****ty d than the actual hit. is that like u?

        yeh exactly,im frustrated cause i didnt make the rite move,and that that ****er tricked me into gettin hit lol

          haha i know that feeling. yeah well u said u dont like it but u still keep your compusure and dont get angry or whatever so i say you're doing just fine. haha keep working and in time ull be makin more right moves than not -> less frustration ->

              Don't worry, I was the same way. I heard on HBO Marco Antonio Barerra cried on his first day at the boxing gym after sparring. Nobody likes to get hit at first, however, you get used to it, Its not like I enjoy it though, or that i'm completly fine for it, but I understand that I am boxing and must take punches, it will happen, especially in sparring, I learn from that and make sure not to fall into the same trap again and make them find another way to get to me.

                  Unfortunately they probably ARE there to hurt you and either the trainer or they are too dumb to show you any productive sparring.

                    boxing is mostly earing knowledge the training forum wont help you that much but the gym will.
