I stumbled across this website browsing the internet looking for some equipment. A new speed bag I think it was. It was this forum "Training and Nutrition" that kept my attention since. As most of you know Im here from about 9am to 5 pm mon-fri consequently the hours Im at work. And I post inbetween doing somthing else here. 99% of the time it is advice on training, Some debating of training methods and very rarely talking ****. If ever.
I read a thread fri afternoon, where a young boxer "or at least thats what he calls himself" Went on and on about people player hating him. That he expected to receive the kind of respect a legit fighter would have. His claim to fame was four rnds of sparring. This was to me quite amusing. What happened next was completely out of character for me. I've never given anybody **** here "save Potatoes, because I want so badly for him to admit that weightlifting can be benificial to the sport" And I dont need to start the BS to receive attention. Yet I indulged in a two day argument with this boy, I posted several comments, which my time would have and should have been better served on helping out a respectable young fighter. Or giving feedback on equipment and training methods I have used. For my small mindedness I apologize to Boxing Scenes posters and members and hope that my excelent standing here and reputation has not been diminished, or dwindled in any way. Forums like these can be an excelent way for enthusiasts to voice there opinions and more importantly take in new ideas to improve there game in the ring. I wish not to tarnish that opportunity.
