I had a good laugh sat night while out with some friends at a local club. I guess I talked to the wrong female and her jealous ex boyfriend. " she said ex, I duno" caught some serious beef with me. it was after the club let out he waited to try me out in the parking lot. I tried my damndest to walk, but he threw a few shots. He was fat and had no skill. I didnt want to hurt the guy Which is why I think I faught him the way I did. It was all jabs and move. Im talkin like three quick jabs and pivot three more. I'd back him off without even throwing my right and not even thinking bout my hooks and uppercuts. He just kept rushing. But he threw one right w/bad intentions I guess youd say and I decided to end it. It was too easy my fav combo posted in a thread last week slipped the right, double hook to the body folded him. dropped the right, sent him to la la land and cleaned up with a masive hook guy laid flat out. Just wanted to share a funny moment It came to mind to post after realizing I used my fav combo as posted in another thread.
I feel bad to an extent. I'll admit when I started to box it was to be the baddest man aroiund and before I hear it from Punch Drunk or somebody I realize that is not the point of this sport. I was just wondering who had been in a similiar incident? and especially faught so out of character. Im a brawler all hooks and uppercuts set up by straight punches I jump on apponents and stay in there face. the jab and move thing I havnt worked on in for ever. glad I can still do it.

I laugh at it myself everytime I hear it at the gym and on here. Its funny most of us boxers are pretty nice guys til you go too far. I mean I could have rocked the **** out of him from the time he got in my face. It must be the confidence knowing I could kill em I dunno.
I'm 5'11" 237 right now. On my way to between 210 and 215 for a fight in November.

I dont have any stories like that bout myself but theres one this guy from work from another gym told me. He went to a club and as he was leavin he accidently knocked this guy in the chest with his shoulder. And hes only bout 5'7 140lbs and this guy was like 6'1 180. So the guy starts freakin out at him and was all "you wanna ****in fight i'l knock you out!". And he responds with "not really but i am kinda bored so why not?" so the guy throws a wide right at him he ducks cracks him with a left and the guy falls straight on his ass. The lil guy goes up to him "**** dude thanks for that you really made my night" and walked away

lmao. I think fighters need to stay out of the clubs. The guy I'm talkin about had me by about 3-4 inches and prob 30 lbs a big guy.

My former next-door neighbor and I had had words a number of times. He and his brother were meth dealers and had inherited the place from their father. Nice, uptown, hi-rise condo. At one point last spring he was using the place for a flophouse, renting it out to junkies. I bumped into him in the hallway in I think May -- I'd had a hand in having his brother arrested a few weeks before (I'd found out he had a warrant out and had called a bounty hunter to come get him, even buzzed the dogs into the building ) -- and he sucker-punched me after talking **** for a minute.

I'd tried to slip by him, telling him I didn't want any trouble, but I could see him shuffling his feet and I knew it was going to be a right hand for my ear as soon as I passed him. I saw him throw it from the corner of my eye -- he reached way back and threw a big, looping punch -- I weaved under it, pivoted, and slid back -- and his hand hit the wall. These are old, lathe-and-plaster walls from the 20's, and meth turns your bones into chalk. He broke his hand and his wrist in a few places, and put a dent in the plaster. He was crying like a little girl, I mean tears, and wailing, and everything, holding his hand. I bounced toward him in my stance, weaved a little bit in my most precocious Tyson impression, and he literally ran out of there, still crying. I had to sort it out with the cops, give a statement, etc. The cops who answered the call knew me -- and him -- by name, and let me off pretty easy.

He moved out a couple of months ago, the place foreclosed (liens against it) and was picked up by a nice single mom who renovated the hell out of it and has started coming to our church. Boxing FTW.
