  • Anaerobic exercise help!

    hey all,
    I am working out with my University's Boxing Club and they do alot of ground/outdoor running and sprints. I have always had bad knees and it built up today when my knee gave out again. I was wondering what are other good anaerobic exercises to take the place of running? I swim once a week, I cant do it much more than that..Only other idea I had was doing intervals on a stationary bike. Any help would be appreciated alot..The exercises don't have to be anaerobic, they just should take place of running and have similar benefits.

    ouuuuuuiiii, thats a tough 1, most anaerobic exercises involve ya legs e.g sprints
    try doing weights, 2 keep that explosive power u looking for? (without puttin 2 much on ur knee).

    look out injured sprinters on net, and they should give tips on what 2 do.

      maybe you can do round intervals on the bags. Jump roping maybe if u do it properly.

        This guy is right. punchout drills. I have the same problem man not in the nees though I got other problems, so Im terrible at stuff like that. whats clycling like?
