braces?

just recently my ma offered me braces. now i would love straight teeth but will i have to stop sparring and fighting because of them? i read that you can get mouthguards fitted for them but i dont know if those mouthguards are meant for something like soccer? i would ask my doctor but i have to wait at least a week and im impatient

i remember when i was 12 i had a mouthguard fitted for me when i had them but im not sure if they would be ok for boxing. I know when you first get them though getting hit in the face is going to hurt a bit more than usual

you get a special mouthguard from the dentist, guy in my gym had it

A kid in my gym has upper and lower braces. He spars hard all the time, no prob. He wears a shock Doc for braces mouthguard. But to compete you need written permission from your parent as per USA Boxing rules.
