Has anybody ever used a pair of these gloves and if so where did you find them?

www.winning-usa.com Buy Ringside International style (I use the Ringside International 14 ounce). They are almost the same in style and fit, MUCH CHEAPER! I have a Winning headgear with the bar on it (FG5000). Cost me $329.95 but, no cuts, bloody noses and bruises. All the top pros in CA wear it for that extra protection. But let me tell you, you will still feel every solid hit. On maxbox Edwin Valero almost kayo'd Urbano Antillion who was wearing the bar Winning headgear. So it is best to protect against cuts. I bruise and cut, and I spar at least 3 days per week, and at 35, I can't afford any gym injuries now. All the best to you!

i've seen videos of margarito sparring with that on.

that's a little too expensive for me, do you think this is good?

      http://store.titleboxing.com/title-...r-headgear.html
      ($49.99)
      or
      http://www.kofightgear.com/facesaver.htm
      ($62.96)
      or
      http://store.everlastboxing.com/eve...-headgear1.html
      ($99.99)

besides the price differences, can there really be any big differences?

I have seen them, tried them, and sad to say.. the Winning is the only one that stayed put. Those other brands are made one size fits all. Which means, they are large and move around alot when hit, especially on smaller heads. I bought the medium size and it fit perfect. The bar on those other brands are set very low and stick out further then the forehead. So punches get thru and your head gets twisted violently when the bar is hit. Hey, why do all the top Pro's wear that Winning brand and not the others? The only closest alternative to the Winning is the Reyes for $140.00. but be warned... it is made with a steel bar, which makes it very heavy and hard to move your head. It is also a one size item. The Winning is made very light and NOTHING gets thru. It really is too bad so expensive, my credit card was screaming. I heard it was because of the exchange currency rate from Japan to the U.S. It isn't even real leather!!! Which tells me it is probably made for less than $50.00 in Japan. But it is a superior product, and when I was in CALI, it is the most used piece of equipment in the gym. It is very durable as I have been in gym wars with it, with big ****ers... not a mark on my face. I hope this helps you.

about the Winning headgears, why are they all made out of "Artificial Leather"?

          http://winning-usa.com/headgear.html

since you're saying it's good, and i've seen pros use them in sparring, i might get it.

i just wanna know, how does the material feel?

Please see my edited reply...and the material feels soft, not rough and it hasn't torn at all on me, even with the hardest sparring. I even wear it when I train so I can be used to it. Very tough piece of equipment. But there is no way I am buying those gloves for over $200.00!!

it's sad that there are no other "face-saver" headgears that have multiple sizes, huh?

Ringside used to make them years ago and they were awesome!! But as always's, Ringside changes things and screws it up. (Try looking on Ebay, you never know, an older model WITH THE RINGSIDE LOGO on it may pop up.)
