i don't know if it is good for boxing, but it is definately going to be the way i go about losing weight. it's something i've never really tried before. anyone ever done hiit over an extended period of time?

HIIT is pretty much superior to low intensity cardio in every department, including stamina.
The only time cardio has its place is when starting up, to get a base to work off, so you won't get injured going all out from the beginning. Oh, and a little recovery work on days off is good too.

Are we talking about low intensity as in light walking without breaking a sweat or 3+ miles jogging?
