  • George Foreman's Style

I really want to understand depper how Foreman's style used to be, especially in his first career.

From what I notice from some of his fights is...

    -He relies all on strength
    -Strong Chin

Those are the main things. I don't know if I'm wrong, but he didn't use his jabs a lot and was smart at it and tactful. He just ate some punches and got close and swung like crazy.

Am I right or was there skill in his style?

He had decent and a good jab. People forget that Foreman had a thunderous jab. He varied it up alot, too. He used it sometimes as a rnage finder or he would whip it out slow, but very strong. He was very underated in the skill department.

Hit the guy hard - if he's still standing; hit him harder!

Really? So he didn't use that much skill/technique, but relied most, if not all of his winnings by pure strength and did anything to KO the other guy?

He purposely trained to kill guys in under 4 rounds.

you have to understandf tht in foremans first career he was powerful, quick on his feet, had a great chin and could throw full power punches non stop for about 5 rounds this meant that he really didn't need to worry about skill he could destroy anyone except an extremely durable boxer who took advantage of his temper, you know who i'm talking about!

Yeah the whole point of early Foreman was to KO everyone as quickly as possible. It was awesome, lol

Because I'm trying to get myself a style. I don't mean copy 100% but take some parts...and I seem to fit in with his style a bit.

If you are a huge guy with freakish strength and a granite chin, then Foremans style is a good one to copy. If your not that sort of guy then try to imitate another since Foremans requires a lot of natural gifts rather than learnable skin.
