As for him not havin headgear on, since you've enver seen him spar udont know what light sparrin is he may go hard but to him its light you might get angry and go harder land one wrong punch on his head and he gets a concussion(spelling). Both of u should have ehadgear on

Personally, I don't have a guardian angel. I have a guardian imbecile. He sits on my shoulder giving me advice, but he's a moron.

I've been in the amatuer fight game for close to 8 years now.

Head gear does little to nothing to prevent head injuries, this is a fact.

at the end of the day he's a grown man and its his call if he doesnt want to wear it.. at the same time the only way this could backfire on him is if you make the choice to load up.. have a good feeling out period and see if you're comfortable. should be right

Yup.

It's to prevent cuts from occuring that could haunt you throughout your pro career if thats the route you take, as well it provides cushion for your oppenents hands which helps prevent hand injuries.

Well, I would spar him if he's a good guy. If he's a prick who just wants to fight because he's a Marine and he thinks he's cool, don't spar.

Headgear defently makes a difference so i aggree.
