  • Sparring Question

    http://store.titleboxing.com/titlebo...ng-gloves.html

can these gloves be used?, im going to ask my trainer but thought yall could let me know first, thanks

Nope. Those are just training gloves. Training gloves have grip bars in them for hitting the bag and stuff. Those are only for the punching bags and pads. There are training gloves and just regular boxing gloves. If you tried to spar with training gloves then you'd either hurt your wrist or hurt the other person really bad. Training gloves are too thin and small. Regular boxing gloves are bigger and have more padding, and don't have the grip bar on the inside of them.

I box. Everyday in the gym, we use "training gloves" for the bags and pads and regular gloves for sparring.

Everlast has a whole section of heavy bag gloves and super bag gloves, which those arent a part of. theyre 16oz gloves which a lot of sparring gloves are, does anyone else know, or hitman can you tell me why they wouldnt be in the bag glove section? thanks

Well I can't really understand your question. Are you asking about Everlast gloves or something else? If you're asking why 16 oz gloves wouldn't be in the bag section is because they're too big and slow to hit the bag with, although it still makes for a good workout.
