With the virus being able to spread so easily should I even spar when I train ?

Are there gyms even allowing sparring?

I guess it will depend on the gym. They may not allow anyone to spar.

I understand the health aspect but god I can’t wait to crack someone with a shot. I even miss taking a good shot.

Honestly it's kind of russian roulette. If you're gungho on getting into the ring, best to remember to sanitize your headgear and gloves after sparring. Its droplet transmission so you've got to protect any of your mucosal membranes from the virus (eyes, nasopharyngeal, orally) all of which can come in contact with fluids by getting touched up. I'm also itching to get back and shake the rust off so we're in this together, be safe and happy training.

Rules for USAboxing gyms and first stage of re-opening. No sparring yet.

I think social distancing can not be managed while sparring, so better to stay safe and wait for pandemic to fully disappear.

It's never going to go away. The flu viruses have been around for how long with nothing being done? The vaccine will cure you of it in the future but they must inject you with the flu, and you may be sick for a spell with the flu, but that is what makes your body immune to it… It causes your body to build an anti-body system to fight it…...Rockin'

I recommend getting some work in with some Kangaroos. Not only does their reach suck but they can take a good shot too. Just be wary of their feet. Kangaroos don't understand boxing and may kick you with their powerful legs and kytfo. Just be sure to have your mouth piece and go get that work...…...Rockin'
