So the full backstory... I’m recovering from quite a debilitating illness, I’ve purchased a free standing bag as it allows me to train to my maximum capacity currently (I have a ceiling mounted heavy bag already but can’t use it). All I wanted to know was whether the Ringside Elite Free Standing Heavy Bag should have a hole in the leather at the top, or if I should return it as faulty. I’m not taking myself too seriously, just looking for serious guidance. To receive comments about being weak/a child/etc. is not helpful and although I get that these forums would attract some comments of this nature I had also hoped that I’d get a sensible answer or two as well. But that’s fine. Thanks for the time and good luck with your training.

Cuddos to you, for getting up and wanting to get better. I can't train any more, one morning I just woke up and my world had changed. Popped out a stroke and lost my left side.
I'm assuming that you bought that thing used?
And what illness are you recovering from?…….Rockin'

Why don't you use your ceiling mounted hanging heavy bag, they are much better.
