    hitting the bag- Pain

After about 4-5 solid about 40 minute sessions of heavybag work, (one per day), I decided to take a day off. The next day, when I went to resume training I noticed that I could not hit the bag more than a few times because my wrists were in serious pain when i did so and obviously I couldn't throw many punches. So I waited another 2 days, and went back at it. Same Result!.. Could my wrists be sprained? Just worn a bit? has anything like this happened to ne of you..

BTW i use regular heavybag gloves, no handwrap...

I figure I could just strengthen everything up eventually, no?

Wear handwraps. Those are definately the problem if you're alreay not wearing them. Wrist strength might also be the issue. How much does your bag weigh?

It might be bag weight? Because since you're just starting out, 100 might be too heavy for you and you're trying to push the bag so it swings and not punching it. So technique. But definately buy handwraps either way.
