when im in pain i find i can make a conscious effort to detatch myself from it.. hard to explain.. sorta mind over matter just shut it out. same as when me and my mates go rock jumping.. just switch to auto pilot and go for it.

Just don't think about it. If you're in a fight and you punched in the mouth, you're not gonna say "hold on, timeout". Your adrenaline is gonna be pumped.

If you want it bad enough you will deal with whatever pain you have to. People think that boxers dont feel it? Sure they do, foir a split second it is in their mind but after that they are focused upon what they have to do, which is to win.

Pain is mostly in the mind. Condition your mind to work through it and youll be much better off in boxing and even in the regular world.

I laugh at people that stub their toes and ***** for hours about it, get over it man. Is it pain or injurie?

you guys are also talking about adrenalin, adrenalin is different 2 mind over matter.it is easier 2 accomplish more in training in a team environment than individually. when punching bag, shadow sparring..etc.. i try get to a fairly agrresive stage where i am right into the fight, visualising, and disregard time. So my rollon and learning isnt disrupted.

If you want something bad enough pain will be the last of your worries. If your focusing on pain then you've lost your game plan.
