Actually, Alex, that's really interesting. Tap water and ground meat both give me the ****s. I drank well water as a kid from an artesian well behind our house, and bottled water in college, as the tap water was not drinkable by my standards.

I was raised largely on game meat -- rabbits, trout, venison -- and organic food from our family's garden; I was raised on 300 acres of forest in northern Montana (outside Browning, birthplace of fellow Blackfoot southpaw heavyweight Joe Hipp.) I have very little tolerance for processed food. Canned Nalley chili con carne, which my wife has loved since college, will **** me up for days. My stomach has no sense of humor. It's fine with sushi, though. Granted, I always get it fresh. I can handle 4-star Thai and Indian food, but give me a couple of Twinkies and I'm ****ed.

Believe it or not, a lot of Japanese restaurants and/or sushi bars in America are owned and operated by Koreans. Even the cooks are Koreans. Interesting huh?

I really like the house special in each sushi restaurant. My favorite is the Sadako Crunch Roll. It's so good but it's about $1.25 a pop.

Sound's good.I am going to have to hit up a sushi bar one day.Raw fish galore. It sounds good.

Well as far as I go.I eat alot of process food, but its generally not alot of meat, and sometimes me and my Grandma will go fishing and catch our fish fresh. She absolutely hates going to market places unless there is some kind of super urgency or she has a late-night craving for fish.

You should start out with sushi that contains cooked meat, like crab meat. Some of those are very good, too.

You laugh at Western obessesion with everything being so cleaned? Japan is the cleaniest country int the world. If you ever go there, and I have, you know what is the true meaning of obessesion with everything being clean is.

In one of the world cup matches back in 1998, they TV camera showed the Japanese crowd bringing their own bags to pick up the trash around their area after the game was over.

I grew up in the Philippines and went to a second rate elementary school that had street vendors frying, barbiqueing and selling fish balls, chicken intestines, corn, etc outside the school. I would feast on that **** and wash it down with a drink I bought from another vendor. I had an Iron stomach as kid but when I went back to visit I bought some food from a street vendor and had the ****s for a week.

I like sushi, although I never feel that full after eating it. Plus its expensive, so I usually stay away unless someone else is paying. haha
