    Yeah I've experience the same thing before. You need to build up more strength. You should start small and work your way up until your comfortable at your current pace. Also, make sure you rest. Take ice baths to help with recovery. If you don't recover you're going to keep dealing with shin splints.

    I had this while boxing after high school years ago and then working out in the morning for football for the Varsity team.

      Shin Splints... You're putting too much weight on the front part of your foot (tiptoe).

      Make sure every part of your legs and feet are flexible so you'd be able to distribute your full weight plus the gravity evenly.

      That's just the start... You don't do this even the bones in your feet will be affected.
