In Scotland in and around Glasgow, traveling up to Aberdeen this Saturday for a fight, 85kg for my last 2 fights fights before that i was 88kg and opponent was 137kg lol, this one in Aberdeen we just agreed to a rough weight of 87-89kg.

Most of the shows im fighting on are sanctioned by WKA (world kickboxing association) and its a mix of kickboxing and boxing, others are random unlicensed white collar shows.

https://youtu.be/p1DF3rY0O4Q - first fight boxed badly but got the win

https://youtu.be/s6y_1wvVO14 - win vs a 137kg opponent, think i boxed okay considering the 49kg weight difference

https://youtu.be/sin7D-MY_wA - loss vs my first southpaw, i found it really awkward fight was very scrappy and horrible to watch

Not bad, but your form could use some work. Some of your shots are slow and wide. If you had an opponent who knows how to anticipate hit range and optimal angles, then they could anticipate you and set you up or take the steam out of those wide slow shots. With better form you can make them much shorter and faster.

Also your jab could use improvement. If you had a better jab and left hook (right hook in the flipped video) you could be a much more dangerous boxer especially with your length.

basically, get a trainer to tighten up your form, and work on your jab and left hook.

Thanks for the advice, once i start driving i will be able to get to gyms with decent coaching more easily.

Congrats on your win! That was a fun watch.

You caught him with some good right hooks, especially impressive when you tagged him as he tried to close the distance.
It looked to me like your opponent wanted to keep coming in and fighting on the inside. With your height and reach, you could use the jab to keep him at a distance and/or throw off his rhythm and gameplan. But it looked to me like most of the time when you throw a jab, you follow in behind it, putting yourself at medium range or closer. To be fair, you gave better than you got in those exchanges, so it worked. I'm thinking of strategy that you can carry into other fights. If you can figure out the opponents gameplan, you can actively disrupt it. (I realize that's a lot to ask for in a three rounder, but it's something to consider in the future.)

All in all, well done! Keep sparring between fights, get tips from anyone and everyone you meet in the gym, and definitely post your next bout!
