Against the jab, I usually parry and move in with the same movement. I slip the crosses more than I do the jabs, and I weave under hooks. As a southpaw, I'm wary of the right hook -- it's usually his biggest punch and a southpaw moving in tends to invite it. I have no doubt that I'd get KTFO if I'm not careful. That's a bad punch to charge into.

If he's a brawler and you want to fight him peekaboo, you'll need to just dig your feet in, bite down on your mouthguard, and hit him more than he hits you. It's gonna hurt. I like short hooks and uppercuts at point-blank range, and I make sure I have plenty of room when we break.

I love watching people use the peak-a-boo style in my gym or on tv. I mean, it doesn't suit my style and I'm **** at it, but it's a great style.

For his size, he bobbed and weaved REAL FAST. And he hit REAL FAST. And his punches were REAL HARD. If you can duplicate all that, you got it made and I will pay to watch you mow people down....

When i first started boxing, i tryed the mike tyson style and was OK at it, but i took 4-6 weeks of training as normal in the gym but outside of it get my gym mates to simply throw jabs at me to get used to the slipping, then work in the hooks do body and uppercuts to head, also lookin in the mirror and always hands at head movin in different directions all the time, if u get left to right all the time a good fighter will notice straight away and when u move one way he will throw the punch that will easily connect, so left right down right left etc etc always mix it up..after about a month i had the style down and added a few "mcghee moves" into the style, hope i can help if you hav any other questions

                A-****in'-men.

I have adopted the peek-a-boo style over the past six months just b/c it fits my other strengths, but I constantly feel that there is so much more that I can do with it -- it fits my temperament and my kinesthetics very well. I'm looking forward to what I'll be doing with it in a few years.

its a great style for getting leverage behind ur punches, tyson did it great back in the 80s, very hard to hit him even when he was coming in
