    Speedbags

I am completely new to boxing. I am wondering which speedbag would be best to purchase; something I could learn with but at the same time something I could grow into so that it would last me a while. Thanks guys.

    X-Small (6" x 4")
    Small (8" x 5")
    Medium (9" x 6")
    Large (10" x 7")
    X-Large (11" x 8")

All are made by EVERLAST, which I assume makes quality bags.
    Which should I pick?

      I can't decide between Medium (9" x 6"), or Large (10" x 7") ???
If it makes any difference I am 16, 5'11, 130 lbs.

i would get the small one, its the average size bag in most gyms the one in mine is 5X8 and i had to learn with that...jsut practice wiht it and you will get the hang of it...if you go buy a large one, what happens when you master that?? you have to go buy themedium, then the small one, then so sn...jsut get one bag that will last you throughout your training

I'd start off with medium. Why don't you join a gym though?

So why don't you just not buy the speedbag and wait till September?

Because the closest gym to my house is a good 45 min. drive there. Plus 45 min back. I cant be going everyday. 2-3 days a week max. Sucks to be me.
