  • anybody's left pinky in pain?

for some reason after heavy bag, or sparring, it's always my left pinky that hurts.

i have mexican style handwraps and are properly put on.

i use ringside imf tech bag gloves for 100lbs heavybag,

and everlast professional training 16oz for sparring.

i'm right handed, nothing hurts after a couple 1 min. rounds of power punching only, except that left pinky, nothing else.

most people that start out have their knuckles skinned, or wrists soar. i never had any of that.

could it be that i'm gripping the glove-bar too hard when throwing my left hand? after all, i tend to jab a lot.

No it's because you punch the wrong way. Your suppose to connect with your index and middle finger knuckles. Not your pinky..

that's what i was thinking, thanks.

i guess i need more practice getting my left hand to do that. my right hand always hits with knuckles and index though, and it feels great.

Either your hands or the gloves are defective....
