My coach has showed me the instructions to achieve this.To clarify my last post, basically I am instructed to bend at the hips at all times while I am in my stance. I should never be upright, or have vertical hips as it is not best for balance in in any sport. It looks like something similar to the universal athletic stance, but at an angle for boxing. Soft bend in the knees, hips and butt pushed back, torso slightly leaned, chest up,on my toes, torso in line with my body. The reason of this is to maximize agility, and power according to him. I’m just wondering if this Is correct instruction, Or is it time for a new coach?
Clarification on my last post about my coach instructions.

I’ll upload pics in a bit. I just want to get advice from others because I hear different things from different coaches, some told me to stay upright, then exactly that same training day this was instructed to me. This is my first time boxing ever.Comment

I have some coaches that’ll tell me to keep my posture as if I was walking, and others say to bend down more. I’m just confused on why they give different instructions at the same gym. When I presented this to them, they had an hour debate over which one is best and never came to an agreementComment

Yes, I am getting sparring in. I’m winning against opponents my weight, but when I go against opponents that are lower than me, I have trouble punching down at them.Comment

Coming from a cornerback in football background, I feel that the slight bend in the torso , butt and hips back is where I feel most comfortable.Comment
