    Foot angle

Just curious, why do you keep your feet angled when boxing? Wouldn’t it make more sense to keep them straight at your opponent? Also, wouldn’t an angled stance lead to duck feet posture?

Depends on a lot of physical factors and style as well.

You angle them for stability in both directions. If your feet are 0 degrees at your opponent, he can knock you on your ass with a hook, even if you block it. With the feet at an angle, lateral movement is more efficient (because you're not moving 90 degrees to the side anyway, you're cutting an angle that's more like 45) and you are less inclined to lose balance when hit.

Feet directly at the opponent of more of a points fighting thing where you're lunging straight in and out, with no attacks coming in from your left or right.

with both feet straight at the opponent, you're giving them a full target of your body

I never thought about it like that...
When I was taught my boxing/fighting stance, I was also taught to physically move your torso so it wasn't showing enough to take a body shot, at first it felt almost awkward, but now it comes naturally. My coach would hit me with body shot if he felt like I was showing too much body.

But like Reddd said, I was taught angle the foot so you don't get knocked on your ass lol.
