    Natto, who eats it, besides me? It is fermented soy beans.

    I think they sell Natto at some stores on the west coast, usually japanese markets. It smells like it came straight outta a babies soiled pampers, and looks like it too.

    I eat it several times a week, and I loves the stuff.

          My sister and mom do. I can't do the texture...
          I mean, I'm sure it's really good for you, most fermented foods are, but I just can't lol. The natto in Japan is far better than what you can get in the US though. My sister prefers the natto in Japan versus here.

            I can go and choose from 9 kinds at Lawson, or 50 kinds from a Natto shop in Tokyo.

            It took me a long time before I could eat it, the texture and smell are not natural to my genetics.

              Yes! The smell LOL! My mom said growing up it was the poor man's food. Natto and rice.

                so, do you live in japan? are you a japanese american?

                natto is typiczlly from eastern japan, Kanto

                I like many different types of japanese pickles, and eat them regularly.

                so you live in the states? ca?

                    I met a lot of big hawaiian dudes, in cali, spam was their food of choice.

                    there is a hawaiian chain food store, yellow and red sign, I forget the name, TandT or LandL hawaiian?, there are a lot of them in LA. Gardena has one, and i saw a few in other areas of LA.
