Its better than being stuck having to spar smaller guys, as long as they dont try and kill you.

I always prefer to fight people my own size.... if possible.

My advice is, as long as you're not getting injured, use that adversity to become a real badass. When you are able to hang with a guy much bigger than you, you roll through guys your own size.
Dude the exact same thing happened to me and it’s partly why I quit BJJ. The instructors would look at me and tell the huge guy ‘we’ve finally got someone your size you can roll with’.

I’m 6’4 but I weigh 170lb. I ended getting paired with a tank of a man who must of been about 240-250 who broke 2 of my ribs on our first roll.

I’m not sure how to get around it tbh

Read books on Oda Nobunga, eat more sushi. Eel sauce and wasabi makes it good. Don’t let em swindle ya with the cucumber, get friendly with the ladies in there and make sure you get smoked salmon and avacado only in the roll. And ask for extra eel sauce to pour on top. Eat
            That then go spar.

            Thanks, Zaroku.
