You're poking your chin up in the air a bit, particularly when firing your jab when moving backwards and I noticed it when throwing combinations. Keep it tucked, and make sure you keep that right hand glued to your chin. Work on bringing the hands all the way back to your face after you throw combinations.

Some nice stuff in there. Work that jab some more, double it up at times and lead with that right hand. If he wants to pressure you then throw out the right hand a few times.

You started to time that lead hook a bit better towards the end of the round.

Yes, I focused on that today, realized that it was easier to react to shots even, especially when im on the ropes. Sometimes when im on the ropes and my head is in the air i cant see the bodyshots i take.

Probably would have been better to take a day off

              First impressions:

              i) Agree with TcBender. Throw more jabs. Stick him with jabs and double jabs and then pull back. In the second video you improve in this respect.

ii) Land some body shots too. Big shots to the ribs, stomach and liver do some real damage and will force your opponent to protect other areas of his body. In the first video, I felt you were mostly going for headshots. So mix it up a little bit by going to the head and then the body. You will also become more unpredictable.

iii) You mentioned in another post you were considering going up a weight class. You're moving around well in these videos, however, a little more power could help so it's something I would consider. All depends on how you feel in the ring though.

              Best of luck with training!
