favorite counter for the southpaw vs orthodox lead hand long hook jab counter

I'm southpaw when I'm facing an orthodox opponent and if I jab he will counter me with the left hand long hook over my jab counter.

If I know its comming, how do I counter his counter?

Use feints and keep your right shoulder high when you jab with your chin tucked.

He's finding a flaw in your technique. Ask your coach to help you improve your jab. It could be your speed, range, power, footwork, maybe your chin is up, etc. The jab should be quick enough someone can't so easily counter it with a hook many times. If you're landing a quick, stiff jab, and following through, he'll think twice about going to the well on that counter.

Once you've improved the fundamental flaw that is making him counter your jab so easily, then add feints, movement, double jabs, etc.

          Nice one, I like that.

Yea, but if you focus on that right now, your jab is going to continue to suck. That counter hook is not the simplest of moves and if someone is doing it to you repeatedly, it's because they have no respect for your jab. I used to do that to guys when their jab was really easy to time.

I'm not going to even go into how to counter that hook because the more important thing is that you fix the weak jab first. If he's timing your jab that easy, then you're not going to be ready to counter his hook yet.

Give him a pump fake with your jab let him fire the hook and then shoot your jab over top his hook.

                  That's not a bad idea.

Double jab my friend. That is what will keep someone from throwing the counter left, unless your jab has power. Then i'd be reluctant to throw that. Use different angles on the first jab or feint it.
