baby steps..... Just do very short workouts (10-20mins) in the mornings till you can manage longer ones without being blasted the rest of the day. maybe some rounds of jump rope or ab exercises. I find the running put more stress on the joints as I get older. Esp knees. Jump rope is better for me because it's lower impact. you're only jumping about 1 inch off the ground, as apposed to running where the knee takes a larger impact. plus with the rope, you can do longer steady state cardio, or some intense jumping for shorter duration.

Good thinking. Though I might not feel I'm getting all I can out of each workout, it would allow things to progress and be more than it was at the end.

I'm cooling down right now from my morning workout. I go at 5:30 am to do certain things, then sometimes go back at night for the more technical aspects or sparring.
I have so many options for "things" after work that if I DON'T go in the morning I don't progress.
