I think it can be done. Are you counting calories? If so, make sure your weekly caloric intake stays on par with your goals.

Some people are strongly against skipping meals, but fasting has its benefits. Just remember there's a difference between fasting and starving.

70 pound is a lot..... one Chinese meal isn’t a deal breaker here.

No offence to OP, but damn, why you let yourself gain that much?

Eat your Chinese meal and then watch what you eat like a hawk.

You aren’t going to run or exercise off the flab, ignore any poster on this website who says you can run off a bad diet. You will shed fat from being in a caloric deficit, eat below maintainance but with healthy food that you enjoy and can sustain and live with forever.

With that much weight gain, realistically give yourself 12 months to healthily shed it, it won’t happen overnight.... a Chinese meal or skipping breakfast will NOT make you shed 70 pound. A 12 month eating healthy with some exercise will.

      Good luck.

He can shed the weight quick by wasting more calories than he takes in, every single day.
