I hit him enough in the body. A nut shot would've done him in.

Is that how they taught you to fight in the marines?

I fought a bunch of slick guys coming out of Detroit. Corey Johnson and I laugh about it now, but it just seemed if there was a show and we see each other that they're going to try and get us in a ring together. Take it as good experience and carry on. My thing when fighting a slick brother was to just jump on him from the opening bell and don't let him breathe. I found that the slick guys depended too much on their ability and were rarely properly prepared on fight night. Hence, jump on him early and don't let him breathe. It worked for me...…….Rockin'

MCMAP is a bunch of different crap.

I was just hoping you would hit him in the BBC because I declared a jihad.

That's funny because I kind of that the same mentality when I saw his style. The only problem was that he was holding too much on the inside. He needed room to do his stuff. It was a close fight though so I think my strategy worked to some extent. I think I started too slow. His style was just looked so appealing to the eye, I had to take a step back and admire it. I was like, "damn bruva! Nice moves!"

I saw a guy like that who was an amateur beat the brakes off an undefeated pro several years back.
