  • My hilariously bad debut

Hi, here is a link to my charity boxing fight, I warn you, it's pretty uninspiring. I'm in the red shorts, blue top.

I'd ask for advice based on the performance but Christ we'd be here a while.

Charity? For those forced to sit there?
Let me try to be sensitive and give some encouragement.
Sensitive===== nice try, you really went after him!
Encouragement=== Never EVER do that again! Quit! Please....

        Had you trained at all?

No offense, but it was a little painful to watch. You definitely were giving it a go, but to me it looked like you hadn't sparred or trained before. If that was the case, then stepping in the ring was foolish.

Definitely keep training if its something you enjoy!

Yeah, id received two months training and had plenty of sparring. I have an eating disorder which meant I was seriously under weight for the fight and pretty drained. I felt I could get away with it at the time.

I would love to get back in there and perform to my full potential.

White collar boxing is where they have people that aren't boxers train for a few weeks and then box each other. We have it in America too and it's charity based here as well.

Good on you for doing it. As long as you aren't pursuing it as a career, I'd say keep at it.

Really enjoyed the Ali shuffle you did there at the start of the round.

You may not have shown much skill but atleast you had the nads to just get up there to do it. That's more than the vast majority of the forum here. So you got knocked around a bit, learn from it and come back and do better next time. It's kind of hard to say good work after watching that, but still you were in there doing it. Learn from your experience, work it through in the gym and demand a rematch with that cat that dropped you on your arse and drop him on his arse...Rockin'
