  • Left hook counters

If your in a orthodox stance and your opponent throws a left hook at you, how will you counter to the body? It's a weird angle, but wouldn't you slightly shift your lead leg to the right and spin yourself into the body shot, or would your back foot move up?
Or would be stepping forward and a right hook to the body be effective?

To the left may be? I would make a slip then punch in his right body side.. without moving left leg to the left and spinning

I have read all your posts here, you are thinking TOO MUCH.

In a spar or a fight, avoid getting hit and hit as much as you can, how you do it doesn’t matter.

You can’t learn how to fight someone from a book, needs experience.
