for meals you want carb portions the size of your fist, so like a good balanced meal would be one portion of carbs, some quality protein and some veggies on the side

drink as much water as you can, nothing else

snack-wise: protein shake; fruit; nuts & seeds

your diet is a good place to exercise will-power, translates well to discipline in training, just generally, i think

I wouldn’t be eating fruit at night, get your carbs in through the day, if your cutting have them mainly before and after your workout.

Proteins, fats and green veg are best for nights.

Days you don’t train keep carbs low as possible.

I only eat fruit at night when I'm starving to prevent the eating of anything else. And I eat only an apple or a banana.

Hand full of almonds/Brazil’s would be more fitting, only if your looking to get shredded of course. I’d advise anyone to stick to proteins and fats on a night.

aren't almonds a bit high on the calorie scale?

Yeh, all the cals are healthy fats and protein tho. Your not spiking insulin levels, much better to keep your carbs through the day when you need them.

With fruit your eating more or less a sugary snack at a time while your going to be sitting around or going to bed... unless you need the energy to pound your girl and rattle the bed for 12 rounds!

Usually I only eat fruit in "starving" moments late at night or to get a minor boost if I do 20 mins of late cardio on the bike or treadmill.
