    ideal rubber flooring

I'm seeking ideal rubber flooring for stuff like jumping rope, hitting the bag, etc.

is .5inch good enough, or is 3/4 ideal? any recommendations on brands would be welcomed, thanks in advance. much love, motherless ****s want 249.99 to ship 150 sq ft from one site

Have you thought about possibly getting rubber mats? It may be a cheaper option.

The thinner the better. I trained at an MMA gym with rubber mats and it messed up my jumprope cuz I sunk in a little bit. The grip messed up my footwork too.

I'm guessing if their mats were thinner it would have been better. Too bad you can't do wood. I actually prefer a nicely finished concrete floor to rubber.

Horse stall mats are the best imo.
        3/4" thick.
You just need to find a local retailer.
Gettting them shipped will cost a lot.

Yeah. I like the horse stall mat idea, but what abra posted is fine if I can't find horse mats close. Nursery colors I could work into footwork drills, etc (srs, an all black one like that would be lux. with some colored tiles for my wannabemanchenko footwork routines.)

thanks for the input, I really appreciate the wisdom. jumping rope is important and it would be nice to have the interconnected ones, to take with me in my truck for when I want to work with the rope elsewhere. The horse mats sound great though, I am googling that now. it really takes a lot out of me when I skip on concrete but I do feel faster on concrete. not to change the subject but i've also been skipping with a fatter yellow rope, along with the small black rope. I am going to be testing some other ropes. Just got in a pair of Sabas gloves, about to hang up the bag I knocked down and test them out. I got in a pair of all black pro primes, velcro. I'm going to order a customized pair, also, but I really wanted these blackouts.

That's exactly what I use in my room.... not in those colors though.
