I go to a fitness center and I'm pretty sure the heavy bag they have is close to 100lbs. I used to go to a boxing gym and they had 70lb ones and this one felt way heavier the first time I worked it. I think "Zebra" may be the brand?

i have a title headhunter bag, it's a slender longer bag. i also have an everlast powershot, I don't particularly care for it. I have a 80 lb century. i wanna get a wrecking ball bag next.

i lack a double teardrop. I want that boss yellow one I see pros using. it's a pro mex I think.

i use a hydrostrike mainly at this time, I'm almost primarily working on my lead cross. been throwing a bunch every day. thousands of weak crosses in a few days with a few solid ones thrown in. im trying to master makin the fist right at the point of impact, it takes lots of work.

been hittin hard lately. focusing on dialing in that cross is super fun. **** recovery. Hundreds of crosses a day keepin the doctor away. playing around with the shoulder roll a lot too, and comnig back with a good cross. you know I saw some old school olympic training vids with a russian coach /camp, in russia, and at the end when they hit the track, the old man showed em the shoulder roll+cross combo. cam was far away but I could tell what he was doing.

I have a Hydrostrike too. Filled to 100 lbs.
My punching bag originally weighed some 90 lbs.
But, was way too hard so I removed some of the padding.

My favorite bag at the gym is a 200 lb ringside heavy bag. Doesn't move a ridiculous amount after just one solid punch and has some of the filling gravitated a little more towards the bottom so I can rip body shots.

What's a good bag to start out on just to have for a bit of exercise and nothing extreme.
Just a good solid bag that i can hit and dodge.

If you're looking just to stay in shape and NOT compete whatsoever then anything will work really. When I trained myself at home I used a 100 lb everlast heavy bag. That sucker was hard as a rock though but it worked.

Neverlast bags are to be avoided.
They have sand bags in the middle.

I had one and I had to take out the filling .

For the casual person, I think a 100 lbs water bag by Century or MaxxMMa are good enough.
