When you are a heavy handed heavyweight but you're mostly fat, will you still be heavy handed if you shed all the fat?
That's a damned good question. Larry Holmes to me always looked soft. His stamina was great. In the first fight against Spinks he looked heavier than usual to me. Not sure if he didn't train or he thought the extra weight would help him man handle Spinks. Anyway it was a mistake. In the rematch he was noticeably leaner, sharper and more active. I thought he beat Spinks in the rematch. I believe there is an ideal weight for heavywright fighters above and below would hamper their performance especially when they get older.

A lot of the old era heavyweights looked a bit soft, but fought wars for 15, 20 rounds plus.
